We visited the blue Lagoon today! It is located about 20 minutes from where we live. The Blue lagoon is a geothermal spa that is one of Iceland's most visited attractions. The warm waters are rich in minerals like silica and sulfur. It is said that bathing in these warm waters help people with skin disease. The lagoon is fed by the water output of the nearby geothermal power plant close by.
The Blue Lagoon is by far the coolest places I have been so far!
At the Lagoon, There are stations with Silica Mud Masks that are supposedly great for your skin....
